For the first time in Mira Costa History our own Drumline team advanced to the SCPA Finals. This was a huge accomplishment for a team that has not been able to compete in over 2 years. You can check out their amazing show here: https://youtu.be/FyNADgqrJX0

This team was led by Mr. Kevin Tram, Percussion Director at Mira Costa High School, and his amazing team. This was Mr. Tran’s first year as the Director for our Drumline. The future is bright for this team.

The Southern California Percussion Alliance Championship is the largest percussion competition in the western United States, and this was Mira Costa’s first appearance in the finals.

The Mira Costa team scored 85.988 out of a possible 100. All told, Mira Costa’s ninth-place ranking was among 54 other high school teams in its division.
