On Friday, March 17th, the MCHS Music Department hosted its first joint festival concert with the MCHS Bands & MCHS Orchestras both performing. This was a fantastic concert and collaboration for our MCHS Music Department. The night was filled with our different ensembles performing the pieces of music they will be playing at festivals in the coming weeks to be adjudicated by outside judges. This concert allowed family and friends to hear these fantastic student musicians and was a great chance for our students to practice before the festival. Keep an eye out for more collaboration between the band, orchestra & choir. All of the students in our music department are so talented, and it is great when we can hear them perform together. We had a packed house, and the music was terrific, as always.
