Led by Percussion Director Kevin Tran, the Mira Costa Drumline is a performance team using percussion instruments specifically designed for our genre. Indoor Drum Line (IDL) is open to any student who has an interest and is willing to work hard. Typically student musicians who participate in Marching Band in the 1st semester, sign up for IDL in 2nd semester to get the full year of PE credit. Many students who play woodwinds or brass transition to percussion instruments just during this class. Indoor Drumline is a music-based performance team that allows students to continue their PE credit into the 2nd semester.
