Volunteer Opportunities
🎉 Help make the inaugural Champions of the Coast, our first hosted show, AMAZING! 🎉 This applies to parents and students in CONCERT and JAZZ ensembles as well! 🎉
To keep costs down, we are looking to borrow the following items.
- 10 x 10 Tents – 6
- 8 foot plastic foldable table – 12
- Keurig coffee maker – 2
- Ice chests – 8 (larger the better)
- Crockpots – 3
Items would be needed Wednesday, October 22–Monday, October 29. Happy to pick up and return items to your home. Chair Positions Needed:
- HOSPITALITY CHAIR – Act as host in two locations: the director’s tent and the judges room. Set up both areas, ensuring the areas are stocked with snacks, drinks, service items; tidy up as needed. Oversee hospitality volunteers. Hours needed 1:30–9:00 p.m.
- PARKING CHAIR – Manage parking, confirm their check-in and directing them to shift locations. Oversee both areas as needed. Hours needed 1:00—8:00 p.m.
- CONCESSIONS CHAIR – Oversee concessions stand and volunteers, set up and take down the stand, stock snacks, food and drinks, and make sales. Hours needed 12:00–10:00 pm.
The shifts for the chair positions are long; ideally, two people would share the job as long as the shift hours are covered. Grab a friend or two! If you are interested in a chair position or need more information, contact the band boosters CostaBandGuardBoosters@gmail.com
